There aren't as many varieties of men's underwear as women.Even so, not all undies are made the same. These are in the Hanes ComfortSoft Waistband line of boxers. The waistbands are fairly soft, but if they added about 3/8" to 1/2" of additional width, they would be more comfortable. They are tag-less -- a nice feature.
They have a button-fly to keep things from popping and causing trouble -- the button hole could be a little larger to help those with limited dexterity.
Not everyone will like the feel ofthe woven material. These are the type that will improve with each washing.
The fit regular, not tapered nor relaxed.
The plaid fabric design is reasonable. Overall, these are just basic men's woven boxers.

Good to know... I think the narrow waistband would annoy most of the guys that I ever discuss their underwear with. (Wow, did I just say that?)
How many do you get for the $8.99? These sound like some comfy boxers after a few washings. I love the tagless feature. I know tags are the peskiest thing when it comes to underwear for women and I'm sure guys feel the same way.
We love hanes too but not the boxers :-) Tags are a pain...they did good to leave them off.
That narrower waistband is a turn off. And in the tightie whities, they shrink even more so you have to get one size larger to get them to fit. Hanes are soft and launder well. My husband would buy the 8 pack, because he was required to wear these at work. Don't ask me why:)
