Hanna Andersson Baby Caps

When my son was born, I received two Hanna Andersson baby caps from a friend. I believe this gift was one of the most valuable gifts I was given! I liked the hats so much I have since bought several more so that my baby can continue to wear them as he grows. I think these caps are a must-have for any baby's wardrobe.

These caps are 100% organic cotton. Though I am by no means a purist when it comes to clothing, my newborn baby felt so pure and delicate that it felt good knowing I was putting something completely natural and chemical-free onto his soft, absorbent baby skin. Newborns also have trouble regulating their body temperature, and when they are cold it is harder for them to gain weight. These hats are wonderful ways to keep them warm when they are newborn, whether your baby is born during the cold winter months, or when every building is cold inside because of air conditioner! Because they are 100% cotton, they will not only help keep your baby warm in the winter but also cool in the summer when you are out in the sun. This is wonderful because the long, sunny days of summer are approaching, and you will want to keep your baby's head covered to avoid sunburn. I like to keep my baby as covered as possible, especially around the ears, because ears provide a hidden place for germs to nest.
