The Hans-G JW199D is a 19" widescreen LCD. It's native resolution is 1440x900.

The screen features a lightening quick 5ms response time, and a 700:1 constrast ratio.

At $189, this is a budget LCD, but the picture doesn't look anywhere near budget quality. With rich, vivid colors this display could easily stand up against $300 Acer's.

One downside of this monitor is it's stand. It's a somewhat cheap, flimsy plastic stand with no swivle, only up/down tilting.

The set also features built in stereo speakers on the bottom which are decent for what they are, but can't stand against a set of dedicated speakers.

Whether you're gaming, watching movies, or just browsing the JW199D from Hanns-G is a great monitor.
