Harbor Breeze Glenwood Ceiling Fan

In the middle of summer our ceiling fan went out and we had to buy a new one right away.

I was drawn to the glenwood because it offered one feature a lot of fans seem to be missing, a remote control.It comes with a mountable remote control that allows you to change the fan setting from low to medium to high, all from the comfort of your bed or couch.You can also change switch the light on and off with the switch of a button.Talk about convenient.

I also like the fact that this fan came in a variety of colors.they had it in two colors, a brass and a brushed nickel.Even though the brass would have matched our room perfectly we went for the brushed nickel (guess I will have to change some of the light fixtures in our bedroom).You can also choose between a dark wood and a light wood grain for the fan leaves.They are two sided so take your pick.

The fan blades are smooth, which allows the air to flow without the fan shaking all over the place.This makes for one quite fan, something that is really nice when you are trying to sleep.

The instillation was easy.It took my husband and I about an hour to put it up.This time frame is pretty easy to carve out of your weekend.

The cons of this are that it does not come with the battery for the remote control, you will have to go out and buy your own nine volt battery, and you will also have to go out and buy two chandelierlight bulbs.
