Hard candy helps with cigarette cravings

I have been a two pack a day smoker for the last 28 years.I have a smoker's cough and a serious desire to stop this nasty habit.I have tried different aids to help me quit that would decrease the overpowering desire for just one more dragg.Alot of the products out there that are sold over-the-counter and by perscription have many different negative side effects.They are also expensive.I am a very busy person with alot of people counting on me.I do not have time to battle feeling sick.
My doctor suggested that I try some sort of candy or gum to help cut back on the need for a cigarette.I decided on cinnamon hard candy.I love the flavor because it is very intense and the hard candy actually gives me something to concentrate on so it takes away the need to be holding a cigarette.
I have found that Cinnamon Discs by Great Value are very good.I have cut back to 1/2 pack a day after only one week.The flavor is great and the price is perfect.
Interesting approach to quiting tha habit.
The stronger the mint flavor the less desire to smoke-at least temporarily. And cinnamon is a huge flavor, especially in solid candies. Good for you on at least trying to cut back quite alot.
