Harmon/kardon speakers are two simple, basic speakers for your home computer system. I have found that the set of speakers, only 2 channel total with no subwoofer, is as basic and simple as you can go for external speakers. The sound quality is poor-you can hear simple sounds, commands and voice but if you want to hear music with a dynamic or full sound, this is not the way to do it. None of my songs sound good-they are empty wit the lack of support. The overall appearance of the speaker is fair, not flashy or decorate but they work-they are a little bulkier than most and will then take up some counter/desk space. I personally tried to use these once as my main source of music output for a party and was sorry afterward-poor output and strength left many feeling they had not heard any music. Overall, don't invest in these-take your money and get a nicer set.
