Before our bank became Harris Bank, we were very happy with it. Now, we are just stuck. With a line of credit, and checks going out to pay bills every month, not to mention paypal and credit services and savings accounts all tied to our Harris bank account, we will most likely be married to this company until we die. Don't let that happen toyou. Should you learn that Harris is merging with your bank, or if you are just thinking of switching - think again. It isn't that I have a vendetta, but there are some rediculous things going on behind the counter. They hold your checks. ALL of them. Unless you remember to ask for the special little pink deposit slip, and then they don't. What the heck? If it's that easy, why not just NOT hold the darn check to begin with? And they have managed to find a fee to charge for almost anything. Of course, those you can usually talk your way out of, but again, why do it? They do offer all the regular banking services, and if you aren't especially attached toy your sanity, time, or financial responsibilites, then go ahead. Sign up. Don't say I didn't warn you.
