"Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" by J.K. Rowling is one of my absolute favorite books of all time. And I certainly read A LOT!

In this fourth book of the Harry Potter series, we join Harry the summer before his fourth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Weasleys have secured tickets to the Quidditch World Cup and Harry and Hermione join them for an eventful tournament.

This year, Hogwarts is host to the Triwizard Tournament, hosting fellow witchery and wizardry schools, Beaubatons and Durmstrong. The best from each school is set to compete in three dangerous tasks.

As I mentioned, this is one of my favorite books. In length, it's at least twice as long as the first three Harry Potter books, which is wonderful, in my point of view. The more "Harry", the better.

I loved the introduction of the Quidditch World Cup. I thought that it was nice to see a little bit of everyday wizard life, that's not always shown in some of the other books. I also loved the idea of the Triwizard Tournament, it added so much excitement to the story.

With this series, I highly recommend that you read the books in order. If you've read the first three in the series, I know you'll love this one too! Enjoy!
