Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix By Sndfan2 By sndfan2 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

"Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" by J.K. Rowling is a fantastic story. This is Year Five for Harry at Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The Ministry of Magic is trying to discredit Harry and Dumbledore. Delores Umbridge, senior undersecretary at the Ministry of Magic, is given the post of Defense of the Dark Arts teacher at Hogwarts. Unfortunately, it's a dark year at Hogwarts, where not much useful information is taught, at least, in the classrooms.

In my opinion, I found this book is darker than the previous four books in this series. Young Harry Potter has been through so much in his young life, and he experiences great heartache in this book. My heart just broke for him at a certain part in the book and I was moved to tears by his desperation.

I definitely recommend this book, but make sure you have time to read it! Once you start, you won't want to put it down! I had a really difficult time putting it down for the evening and even stayed up until 2 a.m. a few nights! Enjoy!
