Welcome, foolish mortals....

We have a collection of several of these toy cars but this is one of my favorites. It is a Disney Park's exclusive product that was not sold in regular Disney store and was only available at the parks or at the downtown Disney stores.. This one is a replica of the Haunted Mansions Doom Buggy ride vehicle that looks just like the cars that park visitors ride in on the Haunted Mansion ride.

The Doom Buggy vehicle is made of die cast metal and has wheels on the bottom so it rolls around like a toy car. It stands about 4 1/2 inches tall and is about 2 1/2 inches wide. It glows in the dark and even the number 13 written on the car. Inside the car is Mickey and Goofy with one of the hitchhiking ghosts like you see in the mirrors at the end of the ride. The front part of the car opens and closes so you can pretend the lap bar is closing down on them although the characters can not be removed from the car.

These are cool collectable item that can be used with the monorail play set, as just plain old toy cars or as a remembrance of one of your favorite rides. We picked up a couple of or favorites on a trip down there and my husband keeps them on display in his office. My son does occasionally gather them up and uses them to play as well. This one rolls really well but if you push it too hard, it is a little top heavy and will tip over.
