Haunted Mansion Tombstone

If you have ever visited the Haunted Mansion at Disney you will be familiar with this guy. He's Dear Departed Brother Dave one of the 3 ghosts who take a ride home with you at the end of the ride. Disney came out with these tombstones featuring the 3 ghosts last year. They were available on the Disney shopping web site but they were very expensive and shipping on them was high. We really wanted them but could not justify the price.

When we were down in Florida at one of the Disney outlet stores, we found this Dave tombstone for sale. Once we put him out for Halloween this year we were very impressed with him. The stone stands about 22 inches at it's highest point and is 16 inches wide at the base. It is very heavy and made of resin. It has a wonderful detailed look and the wide base is very sturdy and keeps it from tipping over. The coolest part of the stone is the image of Dave. It is a 3 dimensional image that has a creepy glow in the dark paint on it. When you plug him in he gives off a wonderful bright blue glow. The AC adaptor for this is heavy duty and rainproof so it can take the elements.

Dear Departed Brother Dave was an excellent deal. I wish they would have had the other 2 ghosts so we could complete the set but we are very pleased with this one as a start.
