Among the expensive footwear roaming around and selling like hotcakes for the last several months is this brand of slippers called Havaianas. You can see people wearing it everywhere like in the malls, churches and especially in the resorts. I got curious about it so I asked my 2 sisters how much those slippers could cost me. Wow!!! It's a bit expensive and seeing many people wearing it I'm pretty sure the manufacturer is making a lot of money out of it.When the family went to Rustan's Department Store in Ayala Center in Makati City last March I got a chance to see these slippers. The stall has wide selection of designs from simple to printed ones. The Havaianas Surf Girl caught my attention. I do love the design very much. It is very colorful and perfect to wear for the coming summer season then. The family planned several getaways for this summer season and I thought that these slippers will be perfect to wear. Aside from the colorful and lovely design, I like the comfort of the rubber material it was made of. I fitted one size of it, tried to walk and I decided to buy it. Unlike other rubber material, Havaianas rubber are durable and don't shrink easily.

I bought it not to be "in" with what is hot in town but I really do love the design, comfort and functionality that these slippers can give me.
