Your setting is a hotel, and you can visit various public rooms designed by the creators, and guest rooms created by people like you. The game is free to play, but many purchase 'habbo coins', the currency of the game. With these, you can buy 'Habbo Club' which is sort of a premium country club to which you gain special benefits. You also have the ability to purchase furniture to furnish your rooms. The game's main purpose is to allow teens to interact with each other, and participate in games and contests along the way. Different gamers prefer different things. Some people like to design games, others like to trade, and still, others enjoy just mindless gossip.
