HAWAIIAN AIRLINES the Spirit of Aloha
By Jan Mayrhofer onIm writing this review from 35,000 feet! I have travelled on several airlines, but Hawaiian continues to be my favorite. I am traveling coach and actually earned this trip with my Hawaiian Air Miles Plan. (Another review waiting to be written) Though I am travelling coach I am quite comfortable. I have plenty of leg room and my seat is comfortable also.
I just finished my lunch of Beef Tostada, which was as good as one can expect for in-flight food. Our choices were between the Beef Tostada, a turkey sandwich, or pasta with Marinara sauce.
I have been in the air for 2.5 hours and we have already had service three times. I had my first Mai Tai after about the first hour. Then we were served lunch, and then another beverage service. Ill wait for my second Mai Tai for at least another hour. I have to tell you that the Trader Vic Mai Tai beverages they serve are so-o-o delicious. I mix mine with the complimentary pineapple juice and share the Mai Tai with my husband so for $3.00 each; we have a nice little relaxant to ease our long flight.
It is taking six hours to get from Seattle to Honolulu today. It varies between five and six hours, depending on the wind direction.
We left right on time today and everything has gone without a hitch. I am travelling with my two teens and my husband and we are all enjoying a comfortable flight and looking forward to our stay in Hawaii.

Aloha Frangipanni. What a wonderful on the scene, first person report on your flight. This is very visual and descriptive enough to give it great credibility. If I hop over to the islands I'll certainly consider flying Aloha.
Sounds like you're enjoying yourself despite a LOOOONG flight. I think HI is the only place in the world worth sitting on a plane for so long, glad the flight is going well! Aloha.
You can't get better than on-the-spot reporting! Sounds better than what we hear about most flights these days.

We've been to Hawaii a couple times and each time we flew on Hawaiian Air. We have always had an enjoyable experience.
Yes, I agree that Hawaiian Airlines is the best Hawaii based airlines.
