Hawaiian Design Mugs By Jan Mayrhofer on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

With our morning coffee everyday, my husband and I enjoy not only our caffeine fix, but memories of our last trip to Kauai. I just always have to decide which one I'm in the mood for today and hope its not the same one my husband is in the mood for.

Walmart is a store I normally avoid (to understand why, see my review Walmart: the High Cost of Low Price) but when we go to Kauai it has been a convenient stop for souvenirs, shorts, and flip-flops.

The mugs we chose were, at least, designed in Hawaii, even though they were made in China.

There were a lot of designs to choose from, but the four we decided to buy were: a black and white with sea turtle (honu) design, a red background with colorful flip-flops all over it, an old-school take on woodies and surfboards, and a scenic design of Kauai's Na Pali Coast. Our mugs are the perfect size - not too big and not too small.

For such a small investment, we sure get a lot of enjoyment out of our Hawaiian design mugs.
