I got the book Hawksong from the library. At first I didn't know who it was by and just got it because it looked intresting. When I realized it was by one of my favorite authors I became excited and started reading it right away. I finished it within that day and was impatient for the second one. The two leaders of the clashing nations wanting peace so badly that they were willing to mate and end up falling in love is an old plot but one that never gets old. The fantasy put a new spin on an old idea. It is one of the best books I have read. The series has a total of five books and I have only read the first and I can't wait to be able to get the next one which is called Snakecharm. Amelia also has a series of books called Den of Shadows which are extremely good in which my favorite is Shattered Mirror. She also has one other books that is not in a series and I have not read. If you get any of Amelia's books and enjoy them half as much as I did you won't be able to wait to get more.
