I have always suffered from headaches. Most are short-termed, but once in a while, I get a doozy that begins from the time I get up in the morning until up into the night. On those days, it didn't seem to matter what pills I took, there was no relief for me until I went to sleep sometime that night (if that was possible because of the pain). I had seen these annoying commercials for HeadOn (apply directly to the forehead, three times) and when I saw it at Magic Mart in Hillsville, Virginia, decided "what the heck?" and purchased it on a whim.
I'm so glad I did. One night, unable to sleep after an exhausting all-day marathon headache, I applied this stuff to my right temple where it hurt so badly. To my surprise, the cooling effectly immediately relieved and stopped the headache in its tracks. I went to sleep immediately.
Oh, by the way! I found a great other use for Head-On! I used it on a cold sore that I felt coming up and it actually stopped the pain and reduced the healing time to a fraction of what I was used to seeing.

I've seen the commercial on TV and has wondered if this works. Now that I know it does, I'll let my husband try it out for his migranes. And YES, I do agree that the commercial is annoying!
