Heavenly Shoes

If there is such a thing as walking on clouds, then this could be it. I am practically not a "shoes" person, more of clothes and bags lady. However, when I do buy shoes, I make it a point that I pay for good quality and craftmanship. I don't really mindpaying for a pair of expensive shoes as long as I am comfortable and it will last longer than usual; if possible, a lifetime.

I saw this dark chocolate colored sling-back Etienne Aigner shoes while browsing through the myriad of shoe collection in TJ Maxx. I was just planning to buy a simple flip-flops but I was suprised to see those heavenly shoes. I was not expecting to see a branded shoes lying around the racks of TJ Maxx and I was lucky! At first look, the shoes looked very simply and conservative but upon wearing, it brought out my fair complexion. It suited my feet so well I wanted to sleep wearing those! hahahaha...

The leather is so soft and very smooth. The sole is rubberized to avoid slipping. The heels are wooden and not so high, just about 1 1/2 inches which I normally prefer when I wear it in the office because Iwalk around half the time. I love the dark chocolate-brown color because it looks very elegant and goes well with most of my business attires.
