Heavy Anchor By msculit on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

A friend gave me this Anchow Hocking glass bowl for Christmas. I liked it so much because I remember how my mom used to buy only Corelle or Anchor Hocking products for the kitchen when I was young. To have one of my own is a bonus!

I like this 5 inches in diameter glass bowl. It comes with a blue lid to keep the food fresh and spill-proof. The glass is really thick and true to the quality of all Anchor Hocking tableware, this one can stand the high settings of the microwave for heating. However, it is not intended for stovetop and oven use.

The capacity is 946 ml for liquids but you can place small cuts of fruits, marinated meat, chopped vegetables, peanuts or anything perishable which you can keep safe in the ref.

The only problem I have with this bowl is that it is pretty heavy for its size. It's not very big but I feel like I am carrying a tray of saucers with this bowl.
