Help, I Cannot Open This Can One Touch Can Opener By Geralyn Hydock on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
We have all dealt with the numerous models of can openers on the market! There are the old fashioned metal ones that open up cans but leave the dangerous edges visible. In response to those dangerous edges, they came out with a new version which eliminated those such edges. These new openers are very difficult to operate if one does not have a lot of strength in their hands. Persons with Arthritis or other medical conditions which impare their strength have a difficult time with these older can opener versions. I was thrilled when I came upon this new verion which is called the, "One Touch," can opener. I was as always skeptical about these items that we see on television. I have arthritis and it is difficult to open cans with the older types of openers. What could I lose? I had to try this new one out and see for myself. I was plesantly pleased with the new opener. No longer did I have to call one of my children or my husband to come open up the can for me. All I have to do is set the opener on top of the can and it opens it up for me. This is one product that is an television product that does what is says it can do. I was so please with this product that I bought one for my mother and daughter who both suffer with arthritis also. They too have high marks for this product! Try it and you will see for yourself what a true kitchen asset it is!

Sounds like it is a perfect product huh? I might have to go and check this out. Would be a great addition in the kitchen :)
Oh I can never get cans open, this is going to the top of my "to get" list.
Thank you all for your comments as I really appreciate them. I gave one to my mom and my daughter whom also suffer with arthritis. It can be a real pain in the neck when you cannot turn one of those other antiques. This is so easy even a child could use it. May I also add that it leaves a safety edge and not a bladed edge. Every kitchen should have one. If I missed voting for anyone please let me know and I will do so. Thanks! Geri
