When is a bargain not a bargain? When it doesn't work! I purchased this liquid hand soap because it was on sale at Target, and my favorite scent of lotion is Peppermint. However, when I got it home, and tried to open it, all the king's horses and all the king's men couldn't get the pump working properly. It would not release like it should. So I decide to use a pump from a Softsoap container. Unfortunately it didn't fit right, but fortunately, I could get it to pump, so the soap won't be a total waste!
The liquid soap is apparently organic, with no synthetic detergents or preservatives. It contains organic sugar and grape juice, and a castile soap base. It sounds lovely, doesn't it? But I frankly was not impressed. It was too sticky, and the peppermint fragrance was not quite right, or as strong as I had hoped. I'm not all that thrilled with organic shikakai from the seed pods of a South Asian tree, if the pump doesn't work, and it doesn't have the peppermint fragrance I wanted. (It's making me grumpy!!!)
I will use the soap, but I will not be buying it again.

Actually, the more I used it, the more I DID notice a nice peppermint smell. Don't know why it didn't have that fragrance in the beginning????? I actually DO like the fragrance, but never could get the pump to work right!
