Scrapbooks Etc magazine is relevant to both the beginner and the expert scrapbooker. Each issue features reviews of new tools and products, demonstrations on tools, tons of ideas, and even more inspiration. Since subscribing to this magazine, my layouts have stepped up a bit. They are not more complicated, they simply look more refined. Many times all I need to do is flip through the magazine and inspiration comes, other times it is reading an article that spurs a layout.

The reviews of new products are great because scrapbooking can be expensive and it is not fun to waste money on an item that did not live up to its promise. I've also learned some new ideas from the tool demonstrations. Many of us do not use our tools to their full potential and this section helps with that.

I've read a few of the other scrapbook magazines out there and I feel this is the best one for the everyday person. Some of the others seem more complex but this one is down to earth and the layouts are fairly easy to scraplift.
