Here Come The 1 2 3's By Olin Froid on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
The children's video, "Here Come the 1-2-3's" is a new release by the group They Might Be Giants and is published by the Disney company. I recently purchased this on DVD for my kids.
I cannot over-emphasize how enjoyable this collection of songs and videos is. The songs are all focused on educational but fun subjects, such as "Zeroes Mean So Much" and "There's Only One Everything". They are silly songs, but very catchy and not annoying. For those of you that have listened to a lot of children's songs and videos you know that annoying usually comes on strong and comes on quick! But these cartoon videos are enjoyable and catchy, I find myself singing them even without the kids!
They Might Be Giants had a bit of commercial success as a rock band, but they were mostly independent and more of a college band int he late 90's. However, as a children's group-they have excelled to the top of the field. They make catchy tunes that are superficial for kids but still enjoyable for adults.
Overall, a great addition to your children's video collection. The cartoon and puppet videos are fun and enjoyable and you and your little ones will ejoy singing along!

I love they might be giants and the fact that they are doing fun childrens stuff now!
Children absorb key lessons in a variety of ways including visually and through audic means. This is really a good way to help their growing minds absorb simple math concepts.
Sounds like you really have so much fun with those video especially those songs...listening to those songs should makes you younger in look..lol
Sounds like a cute video. I get so tired of some of the ones that I have for my nieces that I will have to try and new one. Thanks for the great idea.
