Here Kitty, Kitty

I've had many kitties over the years. Kitty litter can get expensive. There are so many brands and types to choose from. Some kitties can be a bit picky about what kind you use for them. There's nothing worse than spending money on litter that your kitty won't even use.

For quite some time, I've been using Special Kitty litter from Wal-Mart. It's a quality litter and I've never had a kitty to disapprove of it.

I buy Special Kitty litter in a 25 lb bag. The bag is pretty durable. I hate when I buy heavy bags of kitty litter and the bag splits open. What a mess!

Special Kitty litter has a rather coarse texture. It isn't fine like many brands, although, what the kitties deposit in the litter seems to clump up somewhat like more expensive brands - this makes scooping between full changes easier.

The only complaint I have about Special Kitty litter is the dust. Dust seems to kick back in the air as you're pouring the litter into the litter box. Other than that, this is my favorite brand so far.
