Here Wii Go!!! By vsimeone on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
My family recently purchased a Wii. I haven't been much of a game person since Atari in the late 70's and even then I was never very good at Pong or Frogger. I had heard all the hype about the Wii but was a bit skeptical. Not any more! This is one FUN game system! Sounds rather weird to be talking about family relationships in a review about a video game console but I have had a difficult time connecting with my 16 y.o. son lately. During the past several weeks, our area has had quite a lot of snow and my son and I have been home together for snow days frequently. Instead of hiding in his room, watching TV, he has actually been playing DDR with me every day! We have made it our personal challenge to help each other beat the venues and we're quite a team! Overall, my experience so far with the Nintendo Wii has been a fabulous one! I can't wait to save some money toward some new games for my son and I to beat together!
Nintendo Wii Purchased at: Amazon.com Price: 249.00 no tax!

I really want to try this! It sounds like so much fun!
I have to agree with you that the Wii is a great way to connect with family. I have a teen son that likes to hide away in his room too.
I agree also, my sister has a Wii and it is always fun for my son (or myself for that matter) to play with my parents and sister. My dad loves the golf game...lol.
My kids are really wanti8ng this system,I had no idea it was this cheap and NO tax on Amazon..thats awesome! I like the fact you have to be more physical than just pushing buttons on a controller.
I've heard just wonderful things about this system, how it brings people of all ages together. Glad to hear you are enjoying it so!!
They say it doesn't give you much exercise in reality, but I think it HAS to be so much better than just sitting still!
My sister purchases a Wii last week and loves it! She is moving down from Michigan to Florida to live with me in about a month so I'm counting the days till she arrives. I don't know if more for her company or the Wii?! lol jk
I am once again so jealous :0( I really want a Wii! Glad you and your son have enjoyed playing it together.
I want this so bad, sounds like fun. Thanks
Isn't Wii the greatest? You have to get Guitar Hero for it. I bet your 16 year old would love that. We do! In fact my son is on the couch right now playing Wii :)
