Hero the Movie

Quentin Tarantino has done it again.What an amazing, visually stimulating film.The martial arts of Jet Li will have you captivated throughout this movie.His charecter rises up aganst his empire.He is looking for revenge against those who had killed his people.He is not going to rest until justice is served.Underneath all of the fighting is a beautiful love story as well.The movie is set in ancient times.The women in Hero are so beautiful especially when demonstrating their skill in the martial arts.The movie stars Jet Li, Tony Leung, Maggie Cheung, Zhang Ziyi, Chen Dao Ming, and Donnie Yen.You are just mesmorised by the movements throughout the film.I think it was even better than Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.The film was also nominated for and Oscar And a Golden globe. The bonus features on the DVD are great too.They include -Conversations with Jet LI and Quintin Tarentino about the action scenes, -A viewing of the story boards, and -"Hero Defined" which is a comentarty version.The film is rated PG 13 because of the violence.Would you expect a Tarantino flick with out the violence?I even felt like taking up martial arts when the film was over!Check it out!
