Hershey Gardens By Momof2Disneyboys on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

My family and I went to the Hershey Gardens on a recent trip to Hersey Pennsylvania. I thought the Hershey Gardens were very beautiful, but not the most exciting thing there is to do in Hershey. A nice feature about the Hershey Gardens is that is it very quiet and peaceful. So after a long day of touring the town of Hershey and being at the Hershey Chocolate World or Hershey Park where it is always loud and crowded, the Gardens are a nice change. The admission is around $10.00 for adults and around $5.00 for children. If you stay at a Hershey owned hotel they give you free tickets to the Hershey Gardens. That is why we went. The children enjoyed it very much, more than I expected. There is a section that is called the Children's Garden and there is also a Butteryfly house where the butterflies fly freely around you and on the plants. The Hershey Garden's were inspired by the Herhsey family and actually have rose bushes that were planted by Mrs. Hershey many many years ago. Overall a nice place to visit, but not sure it's worth the admission price they charge.
