Hershey Park By Jeanette Dusci on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
Yesterday, my family went to Hershey Park in Hershey, PA. We had so much fun. My kids range in age from 3 to 12. With such a gap, I was pleased with how much there was to suit everyone. We started off at the new water park. It was great. There are four big water slides. One is called The Whirlwind and it's like you are being flushed down a (clean) toilet for lack of better explanation. There is a kiddie area called Sandcastle Cove with small slides and fountains. There is a wave pool and another huge water playground type area that most ages can enjoy together. The rides in the park are widely varied and what I loved is that the kiddie rides and big people rides are sprinkled throughout the park so there is no need to split up and go in separate directions. My little one could be on one ride while my older kids rode on a bigger ride right next to it. There is also a zoo in the park called Zoo America and Chocolate World is where you can tour the Hershey factory. All of this is incuded in admission price. With 10 roller coasters and tons of family rides, I highly recommend Hershey Park.
