Hershey's Kissables Candy By Kakoa on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
When I saw the Hershey's Kissables commercial for the first few times I thought it was so cute and such a great idea. I was able to sample these Kissables shortly after that at a Sam's Club. I have to say that the commercial is much more enjoyable than the Kissables themselves.
I love regular Hershey's chocolate kisses, but the Kissables are not good at all! Take a Hershey's Kiss, shrink it to about 1/3 the size, and cover it in a hard thick layer of pure sugar. You would think it would be like an M&M, but it's not. The outside coating overpowers the chocolate taste almost completely. It has an odd bitter sweet taste overall. I ate a few just to make sure it wasn't just my first impression of a different taste. It wasn't. I almost spit the last few out. I will never buy these or recommend them to anyone. Trust me, stick with M&Ms if you want a crunchy coated chocolate candy.

I was also looking forward to trying these. After all, they were from Hershey's. I was so disappointed. You described the experience to a "T" -- all hard shell, and almost no chocolate flavor!
I am a chocolate lover and did not like these at all. I was shocked Hershey's was able to make such an icky tasting candy! lol
I agree totally, although my 2 year old likes them, lol!
I agree too! My kids love them but they were just not fulfilling as chocolate!!

I haven't met anyone who likes the, yet! And that's the freebie they gave out at the Hershey World in PA! lol
I completely agree. I only ate them when I got them for free and that didn't make me appreciate them any more.
I completely agree with you these candies were pretty bad its like flipping around an M&M chocolate with candy coating on the inside
My daughter and I will surely love this stuff. We both like chocolates.
I actually liked them, but I respect your opinion so I am voting for you.
