Hewlett Packard Photosmart 335 Ink Jet Printer By hlmdcm on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I bought this for a wedding reception that would have no dancing, so I figured people would get bored easily. It does run on batteries (or plugs in) and can print photos directly from your camera or from a smart card. It is relatively easy to carry (about the size of a little igloo) and takes regular photo paper, and also printed well on index cards. I was able to use it without reading the manual, a big plus in my book. The photo quality is impressive on the photo paper, but I did not like that the ink runs out quickly, you likely will need to change the ink during your event. People liked having their photo taken and having a copy of it on the spot, the couple liked getting copies of the photos we took at their reception the same day. Some features I liked included that the 4 x 6 prints were borderless and that you can edit red eye in the photos without having to use a computer. It gave me something to do at the reception when I got bored, but would be a good icebreaker at picnics, reunions, and other parties. The printer also prints on unlined index cards, which is a nice alternative to the more expensive photo paper.
