I tend to forget the Sears is Kmart and vise, versa. So, when I got bored at Kmart, watching my wife in the women's fashion area, me and the boys started wandering off, each down different aisles.
I ended up looking around the home improvement department. I suddenly noticed, Kmart was stocking Craftsman products. I really should have had a V-8 that morning. Of course, why wouldn't I find a few Craftsman tools laying around a Kmart store.
I picked up the 13 piece ball-end hex key set, by Craftsman. It was on sale. Did I need it? Sure, you bet I did. It had never owned a set before, so I had to have it.
Two days later, I actually had to use it over at my mom's apartment. She had all this furniture that needed to be put together using a hex key, that didn't come with the furniture.
It took me a couple of hours figuring out the furniture designs, so I could construct the furniture, but I did it all with my Craftsman, hex key set, I just got the other day.
Mom treated us to dinner at the Steakhouse. In the end, the tool has already paid for itself. I like it when things come together like that.

Those hex sets really do come in handy at unexpected times! We have one of these and use them more frequently than one would think. What a great son you are for helping your Mom and a great unexpected treat to the steakhouse!
