I love neon! For my birthday, my sister in law surprised me with a neon toaster. "What's a neon toaster?", you say? It's a heavy-duty toaster from the "old days", with neon "toast" popping up through the bread slots! The insides of the toaster have been rewired for the neon, but the other features on the toaster remain in tact. I've had guests at my house that actually went over to the neon toaster thinking it was a real working toaster. When it's not lit, it looks unassuming. But light that baby up, and you have a conversation piece! And boy... is it ever!
In a previous life, this was once a 1940's Westinghouse toaster. But now it's become a novel piece of artwork with it's red neon outline of popped-up "toast"! Did I mention, I love neon? (smile)
