Hidden Pictures Find Some Fun By wallace6 on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Do you remember sitting there as a child trying to find all of the hidden objects on the "hidden pictures" page of the Highlights for Kids magazine? I sure do!

The makers of Highlights created a book full of hiden pictures puzzles. There are more than 2,000 items to find throughout the 192 page book.

While it is fun to try to find the items listed below the pictures, I do have a complaint.

My main complaint is that, unlike the Highights magazine, there are no pictures acompanying the items listed to find in the large illustrations. This makes it geared toward older children of at least a second grade reading level. My two youngest enjoy finding the items in their magazine, but need help with reading the list of items to find.

It does have one nice feature, it has answer pages in the back of the book.

I purchased this book for the children to be entertained with while on long road trips. It does entertain them, but younger children will need you to read to them what they need to look for.

OMG! That was my favorite part of Highlights! I would love to have this for my own entertainment. :-)
