Hikari Micro Pellets For Tropical Fish By Karen on - Updated Sep 18, 2011

I have a freshwater aquarium containing some black skirt tetras and platies. When I feed them, I want it to be with food that is nourishing for them as well as something they enjoy. Well, they seem to enjoy Hikari Micro Pellets. These pellets come in a 1.58 oz bag and is ideal for feeding tetras, barbs and other small fish.

The micro pellets consist of three different granules of nutritious food. I put a very small amount in the tank (at present I only have nine fish), and the fish seem to really like it. This food helps to promote good colors in my fish. The pellets are easily digested, which helps in fish growth. They also do not cloud the water.

Hikari Micro Pellets are semi-floating food. The fish love to swim after the pellets as they slowly sink in the water. One bag also lasts me quite a while and is a pretty good deal at a little over $4.00.

If you have small tropical fish and have not yet tried this food, I would recommend it. It is very easy to feed to the fish and seems to be highly nutritious for them. Plus, they like it.
