My family and I stayed at the Hilton Hotel in Niagara Falls, Canada for one night this past summer - 2007. We chose this hotel because of it's location and room views. We were not disappointed by either. The hotel is centrally located on the upper end of the falls street. We requested and paid for a room with a view of both the American and the Canadian Falls. The view was spectacular! We could clearly see both falls and also a very nice casino building in between them. The room was very clean for the most part and very spacious. We had two queen size beds. The hotel has a beautiful swimming pool with a three story high water slide. It also has a gift shop and a bar. The price was a little high, we thought. It was neary $300 for the night, plus you have to pay for valet parking beacuse that is all they have. You do have the option of a city view which is somewhat cheaper.

I have never been to Niagra Falls before and I lived in Michigan for 23 years of my life, so close! Hopefully one day I can get back up there and go. :o) I hear it's truely a beautiful place. The Hilton sounds like it was a great place to stay. I bet your kids loved the 3 story waterslide!
Wow...300 a night? I would have to be overlooking a beach somewhere to spend that much money. I bet is was cool to see the falls from both sides out your hotel window. That might be worth $300!
So now you have to see a casino between those two historic landmarks? I can't stand it. The falls are wonderful, but 150 years of commercialization has just made the whole experience there nearly intolerable to me. Do the Maid of the Mist boat tour, walk around, hike the Conservation Trail, and drive into Buffalo to sleep. Glad you liked it... I'm not trying to knock your experience.
$300 a night is kinda outta my price range. The Niagara Hilton does sound like a nice hotel though!
I stayed there a couple years ago and just loved it. You are right the view is beautiful. Not sure either if it is worth price, but I really did enjoy it. Thanks
Wow that sounds amazing. I have been dying to see Niagra Falls. Maybe one day..but $300 a night? It would kill me to pay that lol. Sounds like an amazing view though so it might be worth it.
That Hilton sounds like one pricey hotel! Are you only paying for the view or is the hotel really worth that much?
Everyone needs to see the Falls at least once in their lifetime-talk about a breathtaking experience! It sounds like you had a lovely experience there!
Stayed on the Canadian side before, but never paid that much. We always found a less expensive place but nice. Love the Maid of the Mist ride and the walk under the falls(a bit wet though).
