My husband came home with this set almost 10 years ago and it still looks brand new. It is a 12 piece set in a block. It has 6 steak knives, pastry shears, bread knife, a sharpening tool and more.
I had never heard of this company before, so I had to research them. They have been around since 1930, a company that stays in business that long has to be doing something right. What surprised me is that they are all designed in New York. They are produced in 8 different countries, but the design comes from right here in the Undited States.
This is probably one of the most used things in our kitchen, everything you need is in one spot. You can run them through the dishwasher but I don't, I wash these by hand, dry them and put them back in the block.
In the 10 years, we have never broke one, not even the handles. They are tempered steel and seldom need to be sharpened, but when they do need it my husband runs them across the tool that comes with it.
It has been well worth the money and I recommend them to anyone looking for a new set, you can expect a lot of good years out of this brand.
