Hold Tight By Harlan Coben By kristyh on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I have only one problem with Harlan Coben- he does not write his books fast enough for me ;o) If you have read any of my other reviews of his books you know that I am a huge fan. He takes mystery and suspense thrillers to a whole new level! This book was good, not my favorite to date but good! I love that while reading his stories I can never predict what is going to happen next. I recommend mystery and suspense fans read this book.

Story (as on back of book): "We're losing him." With those words, Mike & Tia Baye decide to spy on their 16 yr. old son, Adam, who has become increasingly moody and withdrawn since the suicide of his best friend. The sotware they install on his computer shows them every Web site visited, every e-mail sent or recieved, every instant message. Within days, a cryptic message- "Just stay quiet and all safe"- draws them into a maze of mayhem and violence that could destroy them all...

Opinion: This story has so much going and is very intense. The characters are complex and interesting. There is the, "Every family has it's secrets" and "things are not always what they appear" undertones. I loved it.
