Holmes 16 Trend Stand Fan By John Gugie on - Updated Oct 15, 2011
This is a great little fan but it's not for everyone because it requires assembling of much of it, even the blades, which are sharp. It's not too difficult but requires tools. Mine is a sleek chrome metal.
The height is adjustable from 16 to about 30 inches, so it can be used as a table or short standing fan. The top can be tilted as well. The base is weighted for stability
It can stay still or oscillate side to side. It has two sixteen-inch blades and has three speeds.
This really keeps you cool with an air movement comparable to larger fans. The all metal construction makes for a durable product. The motor isn't loud but the air displacement can be a bit loud. My only complaint is that the cord doesn't go through base. It hangs straight out from the motor on top, so it's not hidden from sight.

These are great for extra air when needed.
