Holmes Oscillating Heater By Lolazee on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

This may be a small heater but it packs a lot of power! There are two heat settings, and it oscillates so its not a constant flow of heat. The two heat settings are 750 and 1500 watts, and has a comfort control thermostat to ensure that it doesn't get too warm.

We use it for our downstairs rooms that get rather cold in the winter. It heats effectively, with a minimal drying in the air. We have used it for the last year, and have had no problems with it. It has been reliable throughout. I am unfamiliar with the brand, but based on the performance of this heater, I would re-shop with Holmes.

I am always afraid of using a plug in heater, but I feel safer when there is an automatic shutoff as this one. It adds a little comfor to the thought of using a heater.

The price is great, we picked up a couple in case we would need some extra heat. One has been sufficient, but its always good to have a back-up!
