Holmes Tower Quartz Heater Model No. Hqh319 U By Kat Mitschke on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

Last winter I needed a heater for my bathroom. After taking a lot of time and researching I chose a Holmes Tower Quartz Heater Model No. HQH319U. After looking at different models I chose this one because the controls for the thermostat are easy to understand yet they are not just a simple on and off switch. You can adjust the temperature and the fan from two switches which are located on top of the heater. This is a plus for me because I don't enjoy getting on a cold bathroom floor to try to read settings at the bottom of a heater. This heater has a patented MaxFlow Fan system which forces the heated air out to you so you don't have to stand close to the heater to stay warm. This is great with children - they don't have to get so close that they are in danger of bumping into the heater. This heater is easy to pick up with a handle in the top back of the heater and also has a safety shut-off feature if it is accidentally knocked over. There is a perforated screen on the front which is another safety feature. For additional heating in the bathroom on those cold winter nights, this heater is great. The thermostat on the central air and heat never has to be changed to get that chilly bathroom warm. The cost of the heater now is about $69 which is what I paid for it last year.
