Sometimes a movie just needs to be fun.Home Alone is just that!After being accidentally left behind in Chicago while his family vacations in Paris over the holiday season, eight-year-old Kevin McAllister (Macaulay Culkin) is having the time of his life doing whatever he pleases.When two dimwitted burglars (Daniel Stern, Joe Pesci) case the neighborhood, Kevin realizes that he is the only one who can defend his home.Armed with a pellet gun and an arsenal of homemade booby traps, Kevin paves the way for one of the best holiday movies ever!Pesci and Stern really shine in this movie.It is odd to see Pesci in a family film, but it is a breath of fresh air.This film is one of my guilty pleasures.It always gets me in the Holiday spirit!
