The Complete Home Aquarium guide is a fantastic book. If you are new to keeping tropical fish, and not sure how to set up your tank or choice of fish etc - then this is the book for you. Colour illustrations cover size and choice of tank, equipment required, and finally the vast amount of fish species. One of the best features in this book is the quality of the writing and content regarding different fish species. Country of origin, size and water conditions needed are all covered in rich detail - with beautiful photographs. If you choose to have living Aquarium plants in your tank - they will need special care and attention, so the book includes a whole chapter on this topic. I was once considering having Marine fish rather than salt water fish, but i now understand they can be a little bit more difficult to care for.
