Homedics Massager with Heat....aaaaa!
By donnabc onMy husband has had trouble with his back for 9 years now.Although surgery did help, his back has never been the same...guess that's what happens as we age, huh?Anyway, he is always asking me to rub his back but I was not able to provide much relief.So, I got this handy device for him one Christmas.
You can choose either heat and massage or just massage.Then the massager can be set up to 3,100 pulses per minute....yeap that is REALLY fast.The speed is a sliding button so you can gradually increase or decrease the speed of the vibrations.
The handle of the massager is rubber to absorb some of the vibrations.However, trust me, you will not be wanting to use this more than 10 or 15 minutes at a time and your hand will feel kind of funny from the vibrations when you are done.
One of the BEST unexpected features for ME was that the massager can actually be used by my husband for his OWN back.HA!This was definitely $30 bucks well spent :0)
That seems like a really reasonable price. My grandmother used to have a short pad that she could lie on that heated and massaged her back. Sure felt good (of course I got to try it too!)
This sounds nice. Giving massages is not one of my favorite things to do, so this would be handy for hubby (as well as myself),
