Home Trends Cranberry Mandarin Scented Candle By Willow on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

As I looked at scented candles to buy some for Christmas, I noticed this wonderful scent that was new to me, a mixture of citrus and something else. I checked several candles before I found the one this interesting fragrance belonged to: HomeTrends Cranberry Mandarin. The bright red candle is sold in glass jars of three sizes, small, medium, and large. I picked the medium one.

The jar is nothing fancy, just a clear glass bowl with a plastic lid that has three holes in it to let you smell the fragrance. The candle inside has three wicks, so when you light it up there are three lights burning; very pretty. The scent is more on mandarin side, but cranberry adds more sweetness to it. The fragrance is not overbearing when the candle burns.

The candle needs to be extinguished every 3-4 hours to let the jar cool off (I normally do not let my candles burn that long, anyway). The candle is used up when there is about 1/2" of unmelted wax left; it needs to be extinguished at that point or the jar will break.

I am a huge candle fan. This sounds like a wonderful scent!
