Homeward Bound Dvd By ArmySister on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

"Homeward Bound: The Incredible Journey" is a Disney movie that Siskel and Ebert game "two thumbs up!" Here at our house, we would give it one thumb up. While I think it is a good solid movie, it has never been one that kept the attention of anyone (including myself) in our house. Everyone seems to end up distracted and doing something besides watching the movie by the end of it. Even I have found that I can't usually sit through the entire movie. Another thing that I don't like is that it basically has no bonus features to mention. The only real feature is the "Original Theatrical Trailer" and this is not any more interesting than the movie.

This movie is the story of a group of animals with human voices who are off to save their family. The group consists of a bulldog, a Himalayan cat, and a golden retriever. They were left with a family friend (who lived a good distance away) while the family when on vacation, but the pets decide their owners must be in trouble and so they "run away" headed home. The movie is very touching as they animals really bond during this journey and find that together friends can accomplish anything.

Again, this is a solid movie with a great story, but for some reason, it just just never caught the undivided attention of my family. I would not recommend it highly.
