Honeywell Safety Sensor Heater By 999frights on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

I bought a couple of small heaters to run during the winter because my gas bills were so high. I sometimes run a couple in the basement if I am working down there or in my family room. I wanted one that was safe to have around the kids. This one was my favorite out of the two heaters I bought because it seemed safer.

The features I really like about the heater, that makes it stand out above the other heater is that you can only turn it on by pressing a button, at the same time that you turn a knob. So my small kids can not turn it on by themselves when we aren't looking. It has a safety feature where if it turns over, it automatically shuts off (my other heater has this as well). So if the kids touch the heater and even tip it over a little, it shuts off. The third feature is has that I love is it has a built in sensor in the front. If someone gets in front of the heater, it turns itself off, but the sensor has to be blocked for about 5 seconds before it turns off.

It also has a fan cycle and 2 heat settings: low and high. It has 10 levels to choose from.

I really don't have any negatives to say and it heats the room up. I've had this heater for about 2 years.
