I have always had a love for Dr. Seuss books. What a gift of writing Dr. Seuss had! "Hop On Pop" is another book written by this great author. It is a very similar writing style as his other books. The words rhyme and repeat themselves which makes this book great for a child that is learning how to read. My son loves this book because he can read it quite quickly, which builds his self esteem.

The book's illustrations are the same style as the other Dr. Seuss books. There are brightly colored, silly looking characters that do funny things.

While this book is very lengthy (64 pages), it is very easy and fast reading. Elementary school teachers recommend these books and they use them in elementary schools. I chalk this book up to another great Dr. Seuss book!
