Hostage Dvd Review By shulockabaulugy on - Updated Oct 15, 2011

If you like fast sequenced, action packed, turns and jolts around every corner, then this flick is for you. I am surprised at the 7 current reviews stating it was a poor movie. I would relate the suspense to Die Hard for Bruce's character as the good guy out to save the day. The young actors in this film were brilliant along with a typical Bruce character portrayal. The plot thickened and changed around every corner. I was enticed and energized all the way to the ending. I actually left the theater wanting more thrills. I also went into this movie without any expectations, which might have helped. I find when expecting something big, you will get less in return. The synopis: negotiator leaves a high stress job in LA for a "low crime" uneventful suburb only to find himself right in the middle of a high crime hostage situation. In order to save the hostages, Tally has to make some quick decisions using his previous skills. While tangled in this mess, the plot thickens making his decisions more personal. Watch this for a thrill ride that hasn't been seen in ages.
