We have had this kettle for about 2=3 years I think and we have never ever had a problem with it. The Kenwood Chrome Kettle has a really nice white on black finish which integrates really well with the modern theme for this kettle. The Kettle is calibrated really nicely instead of using traditional millimetres and litres as a measurement system Kenwood have opted to go for a more user friendly calibration which indicates the number of cups that can be made with a certain amount of water which I feel personally is a god send. Utilization of this kettle is simple and pretty basic. Once the kettle is filled with the desired amount of water you just place the kettle on it's heating stand and flick the little round button on the top of the kettle forward and you should see a little LED light glow to indicate that the kettle is now boiling the water. This is a very reliable kettle and I would really recommend you give it a try.
