Hot Fuzz

Hot Fuzz stars Timothy Dalton, Simon Pegg and Nick Frost. Hotfuzz is directed by Edgar Wright who also did Shaun of the Dead with Frost and Pegg. This movie is a mix of comedy and mystery. Hot Fuzz tends to poke fun at other buddy cop movies. The first 20 minutes are a little slow. However, after that the movie takes off and turns into a funny mystery. Its about a policeman in London who gets transferred to a small village and is assigned to be partners with the chief of police's son. There seems to be nothing going on in this village until dead bodies start turning up. Its up to the new man to convince the village these people did not die by accident but instead there is a murderer running loose.Like I say the first 20 minutes I thought this would be a bit slow but then they crank up the action and funny lines and it turns out to be quite enjoyable. There is a bit of gore in this movie so it is rated R.
